Aromatherapy in Cosmetics

Aromatic oils have been used in skin care since time immemorial. As they are very soothing in treatment and increase the natural beauty of the skin, in combination with other creams or oils, they can safely become a part of your skin care, massage, manicure, pedicure, hair care or washing. Roses, chamomile, lemon, lavender, geranium or sandalwood are representatives of oils suitable for normal, dry, oily, sensitive and older skin.

You can use the oils either alone or in combination of two of them. Carrier oils that are suitable for cosmetic procedures include oils from sweet almonds, wheat germ, peach kernels, apricots and sunflower seeds. Face steaming with the use of essential oils is also rejuvenating and helps to improve the structure of the skin.

Illnesses and injuries must always be consulted with a doctor who will suggest the correct treatment procedure. Follow your dermatologist’s recommendation for skin care. Treatment with natural methods is based on long-term experience, but is not based on scientific knowledge and clinical studies.
